Who are we ? |
|
First of all, thank you very much for visiting the LAN Schaeffer
IT GmbH website!
We would like to provide you with a brief overview of LAN
Schaeffer IT GmbH.
We are a chain of Computer Networking Schools located throughout
Germany with partners located worldwide. Performing both certified
official courses and non-certified courses .
We currently hold the following authorizations: Microsoft
Solution Provider, Microsoft Training Center, Microsoft Certified
Technical Education Center, Virtual University Enterprises
(VUE testing), also in partnership with NCR, Cisco Training
Partner. We have a core trainer staff of 10 trainers which
can instruct in a variety of languages to include English,
German, Spanish, and French.
We offer open enrollment
at our training sites in Schwetzingen (near Mannheim and
Heidelberg, Germany) and Kaiserslautern, where we have six
Level IV classrooms with 16 computers each. Each student
is supplied with the original Microsoft Student Training
Kit for each course. Also, you have the benefit of reduced
prices for the military and the possibility of having in-house
training as well as closed seminars.
We are one of the largest providers for the United States
Army in Europe (USAREUR). We have a unique relationship with
the US Army, having trained uninterrupted for the past 9 years,
LAN Schaeffer has earned a reputation for providing the best
possible computer education available.
We offer USAREUR the option to schedule closed seminars or
to take advantage of our open seminars for Microsoft. Our
firm is extremely flexible, therefore, we are open to discuss
with you any special needs or arrangements that will assist
you in accomplishing your objectives.

Our History |

The History of a Successful
Enterprise.
Today's LAN Schaeffer can look back on almost 100
years of company tradition. Our training centers evolved out
of and are the innovative continuation of the Schaeffer Private
Business School founded in 1902. Four generations later, it
is now managed and co-owned by Mark Peay.
As of April 1996, LAN Schaeffer IT has been a Microsoft Authorized
Technical Education Center (known as Microsoft Certified Techical
Education Center, MS CTEC since 1.10.96)
LAN Schaeffer IT business concept has been proven successful
by the growing number of students which book courses with
us on a regular basis. LAN Schaeffer not only offers training,
but also customer consulting and technical support in planning
and setting up Local Area Networks.
Our qualified staff members are at your service in LAN
Schaeffer's Training Centers in Schwetzingen, and Kaiserslautern,
Germany.
